Grounding off Rostock
On May 21, 2017, at 4.40 a.m. the "Fast Herman", having sailed from Szczecin on May 20
at 4 p.m., ran aground on the Prerow Bank between Darßer Ort and Zingst
and was unable to get off with own power
The patrol boat "Warnow" from the nearby port of Rostock was deployed,
and its crew started investigations on scene
A tug was called from Rostock and managed to pull the "Fast Herman" off at 1.50 p.m.
It was ordered to enter the port of Rostock for surveys of the bottom and investigations
It reached the port with own power and docked at berth 37 at 6 p.m. - Vesseltracker.com
