Launching VOS Fairness
We are pleased to announce that yesterday the launching
of VOS Fairness took place in China.
VOS Fairness is a 50‑m ERRV (emergency response and rescue vessel)
currently under construction at Nanjing East Star Shipyard in China.
Last month the vessel was christened by Madam Zhang Hongxia,
Chief Representative of Golden East Shipping Co. Ltd.,
in a ceremony held at the Shipyard.
VOS Fairness is the second in a ten-vessel newbuilding programme,
with six 50-m ERRVs being built at Nanjing and four 60-m vessels
under construction at Fujian Southeast Shipyard, also in China.
All vessels have a revolutionary, wave-piercing bow shape that
has been specially designed for Vroon.
VOS Fairness is scheduled for delivery to Vroon Offshore Services
later this year and will operate in the North Sea.
