Through a recently formed Alliance with Arkon Shipping & Projects
(JAA – Jumbo Arkon Alliance) Jumbo extends it's scope of services in the middle heavy lift segment by the addition of 3 multi purpose heavy lift vessels of 14.000 ts dwt equipped with 2 cranes each 400 tons, combined up to 800 tons.
The names of the vessels are mv 'Eris J', mv 'Ran J' and mv 'Senda J'.
The vessels are under full technical management by Reederei Juengerhans and commercially and operationally managed by Jumbo, in close cooperation with it's Alliance partner Arkon.
With this addition Jumbo 's fleet comprises 16 vessels consisting of 2 K3000-types, 4 J1800- types, 2 H800- types, 3 JAA800- types,
3 G500-types, 2 E-650 types and enables Jumbo to render full heavy lift project scopes.
Furthermore through this Alliance Jumbo and Arkon have direct access to a wider range of multi purpose heavy lift vessels managed by both of the companies. Bron: persbericht Jumbo na tip René Cornel
