Grounding off Goole
The 'Heyn', en route from Kokkola to Goole with seven crew members on board,
lost main engine power and pitch, and allided with the Goole south pier
on the River Ouse, in position 53 41 48N, 000 51 59W, on June 20, 2018, at 12.20 a.m.
The vessel sustained damage to its bulbous bow and ran aground
No pollution or water ingress was reported
A tug was called with an ETA as of June 21, 01.15 a.m.
The vessel was carrying 2,556.1 tonnes of feed phosphate,
along with 44 tonnes of gas oil and 1.86 cbm lube oil
