In the morning of Mar 20, 2013, the "Shoalway" was in collision
with the Liberian Container m/v "CSAV Rio de Janeiro) IMO: 9407885)
which had sailed from the Eurogate in Hamburg at 7.20 a.m.
The collision occurred off the Airbus Yard on the Elbe. Both ships suffered dents and other slight damage. The "Shoalway" docked at Warehouse 71/72 at 8.30 a.m. The container ship which had meanwhile reached a Position off the Neßsand was taken in tow by the tug "Bugsier 9" and taken back to the pilings in Finkenwerder on request of the Traffic Control. At 2.15 p.m. the vessel left again bound for Bremerhaven.
