As expected, detained in Egypt vessel Com R with arms on board,
was found to be what it claimed it was – a private security ship,
licensed for having arms on board.
Egyptian authorities released a ship loaded with heavy weapons and its crew three days after they were seized for entering Egyptian territorial waters in the Red Sea, two security sources told Reuters on Apr 7 13.
"We let them go on Saturday after we confirmed that the ship belongs to an international security firm for ships and the weapons are used for security," one source said.
The crew confirmed to consist of 14 people, with presumably, Russia, Ukraine, US and UK nationalities. [Vesseltracker.com]
