In the morning of Jan 18, 2016, around 8 a.m. the "Coral Lophelia", enroute from Terneuzen to Hamina, was in collision with the cargo vessel "Karmel" which was underway from Pärnu to Stora Vika, in the Brunsbüttel locks of the Kiel Canal around 8 a.m..
The tanker proceeded to Kiel where it berthed at the Bominflot bunker quay for surveys.
Also the "Karmel" headed to Kiel and stopped in the locks of Holtenau for the necessary formalities. Bron Vesseltracker.com
