Voormalig Nederlands zeeschip gestrand na stroomuitval
Grounding off Lisboa
In the early morning of March 6, 2018, the 'Betanzos' ran aground
near the Bugio lighthouse at the mouth of the Tejo River after a power loss
The ship with a crew of 10 on board was at the mercy of the tide
and was dragged onto a sandbank next to the lighthouse
Refloating attempts will only begin at the end of the afternoon,
when the tide will rise again
The ship had left the Beato terminal in Lisbon bound for Casablanca, Morocco
