The 'Fehn Lyra' ran aground on Feb 16, 2019, at 3 a.m. in the Black Sea
in the Kandıra district of Kocaeli
The ship was en route from Eregli to Tuzla
Bad weather was blamed for the accident when the anchored vessel drifted aground
The crew of eight was evacuated by a Turkish rescue team
The police, rescue teams and fire brigade attended with 24 persons
Refloating attempts won’t be possible until the weather has improved

Divers were called to inspect the hull for damage on Feb 19
The ship will be allowed to leave the region only after the investigation
by the Kefken Harbor Master
The tug 'Eren Enerji' from Eregli needed several attempts to turn the ship around
as the towing wire snapped four times on Feb 17
At noon the bow was heading to the sea
At 6 p.m. the ship was floating again and pulled to Kefken roads
